USAviationWX Pro (U.S. Aviation Weather) is designed for use by travelers, pilots, dispatchers, aviation enthusiasts, and anyone interested in a detailed weather information. The app contains a database of more than 2,000 airports and weather reporting sites located throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In just two finger taps, the user is provided real time weather (decoded METARS) and forecast information (decoded TAFS) for all major airports. USAviationWX Pro uses real time aviation weather data available through public sources.

USAviationWX Pro is quick and easy to use. There's no need for the user to remember a cryptic 4-letter ICAO identifier for a location. Airports are organized by country and state/province, thereby making it very easy to find the right location. Two finger taps is all it takes!
USAviationWX Pro decodes the current aviation weather (METAR) and forecast (TAF) into easy-to-understand terms. Forecasts are displayed with graphical timelines, making it very easy to visualize the forecast periods. One press of a button, and historical weather (METARS for the past 24 hours) is displayed. This is useful for spotting weather trends.
The app has other important features. With one tap, the user is able to see the Google map view of any airport stored. (NOTE: For some rare airports, the geographical coordinates stored in the database may lack the accuracy necessary to zoom directly to an airport.)
Emailing the weather data is also easy. Simply tap the Email button; fill in the recipient; and, the weather package (including 24 historical data and forecast) is sent. Personal notes can also be stored for each airport.
