Application Description
Don't get stuck in a jam!
Unjammed is a traffic information and alert application that can help you avoid incidents and roadworks as you drive. Traffic updates for the whole of England are periodically downloaded to your device via its network connection. As you travel these incidents are checked against your current location and an alert can be sounded as you approach them.
The list view can be used to access a succinct list of traffic events that can be ordered by the road name or by the distance from your current location. Upon selection a detailed view of the incident is loaded.
The map view can show all the events in your area or you can zoom out for a wider view of the current traffic status. Again the detailed incident view can be loaded by tapping the incident icon.
A number of settings are customisable from within the application, including the range and angle of the alert zone, the frequency of data updates.
Please note that the application only supports traffic events on motorways and A roads within England at this time.
