This app doesn’t just teach you from computer-generated rhythms that are only seen in the most perfect of conditions. EKG Prep has Field View! Field View gives you actual patient’s printed EKG rhythm strips and 12-Leads. You will learn to look at real-life rhythms and discern what is artifact and what is real. This will help you back up the information you learn from your textbook and our reference cards with real-life examples!
Unsure on the details of a certain arrhythmia? Look it up in our Reference Cards section. With a couple touches of the screen you can pull up basic information on the most commonly seen arrhythmias and 12-Leads.
The app also includes a 15-question quiz for you to learn the basics of EKG’s and the history behind how they work.
The Basic EKG Components portion allows the student to see what is happening in the heart during each portion of the “normal” conduction beat. Touch any portion of the EKG and you’ll instantly receive feedback on what is occurring within the heart.
