Application Description

TypeCam is simply the best way to enter text for eMail, Twitter, Facebook, SMS, or any other app on your device while remaining aware of your surroundings.
Unlike similar apps, which confine you to copying and pasting text to other apps using the clipboard, TypeCam harnesses the power of the iOS by integrating directly with several destinations.
TypeCam has been designed for any iOS device with iOS 3.0 or greater that has a camera (any iPhone, iPods starting with the 4th generation, etc).
TypeCam presents you with a configurable interface for entering text with a clear view of everything the camera sees. The camera's aspect ratio is modified to ensure that you see everything that it sees, all right underneath the text you are typing. You can change the color of the text, the opacity of the camera view, the stroke of the text, and even the font size to make sure that you can clearly see what you are typing no matter what lighting conditions.
Once you've entered text, you can immediately send it to any destination you choose, including:
* TypeCam uses the official Twitter API to share entered text DIRECTLY to your twitter timeline without leaving the app.
* TypeCam uses the official Facebook connect API to share entered text DIRECTLY to your facebook wall without leaving the app.
* TypeCam uses the official iPhone SDK to allow you to share entered text directly to e-Mail without leaving the app.
* On iOS 4.0+ equipped iPhones, TypeCam uses the official iPhone SDK to allow you to share entered text directly to SMS without leaving the app.
* TypeCam uses the official iPhone SDK to allow you to share entered text directly to the clipboard
Additionally, all of the standard auto-correction, suggestion, and copy/paste mechanisms remain active right over the camera view.
