Although Tsuitate(shield) shogi has long been known as an extremely exciting shogi (Japanese Chess) variant, it hasn't been played too frequently because of it's difficulty to prepare required setup (two boards and an umpire). In tsuitate shogi (chess version of the game is called Kriegspiel), a game proceeds just as in a normal game of shogi, except that you can only see your own pieces.
Computer serves as an umpire (resides in the server) and tells you whenever either player made an illegal move or a check.
You lose immediately upon making 10 illegal moves.
Other than that a winner is decided according to normal shogi rules.
