Try B4 U Buy represents the next generation strategy of retail sales, utilising mobile smartphone technology to support online selling.
Try B4 U Buy allows users to see what a product would look like before they commit to buying it.
The user looks through the smart phone camera and superimposes a graphic image of the product they are considering purchasing on the scene they are looking at.
There are an enormous number of products that can be tried out using this application, but typical examples are:
- “try out” a piece of furniture such as a lounge suite, to see what it would look like in your lounge room, before you decide to buy it.
- see what a tattoo will look like before the decision to have it done.
- "try on" clothing when you are shopping on line.
- go shopping to see what a wedding ring would look like on your hand before buying on line.
The images in the App come from catalogs provided by suppliers, and are made available to users through the server on the Ty B4 U Buy website. The images all have links to the vendors website so the user can get more information about the product and optionally buy it.
