Application Description
TruPoll makes your vote count for the change you want this election. Generate your own ‘how-to-vote card’ based on the policies that you care about.
TruPoll is a free iOS app that allows you to easily view, rate, and compare the policies that matter to you. TruPoll uses those ratings to generate a personal Senate or House of Representatives ‘how-to-vote card’, specific to your electorate.
With TruPoll you are able to:
Rate your issues — Only see the policies your interested in. By rating the issues that matter to you, TruPoll will filter the policies of all political parties in this federal election so you don’t have to trawl through policies you don’t care about.
Compare Policies — TruPoll groups party policies under issues, allowing you to compare the policies of all parties on single issues in the one place.
Rate Policies — When you rate policies, TruPoll uses your policy ratings and your issue ratings to assign scores to parties.
Generate a ‘how-to-vote’ card — TruPoll will tell you the order in which the parties in your electorate align to your policy and issue ratings based on your personalized TruPoll party score. Your ‘how-vote-card’ is fully transparent: you can see exactly how TruPoll calculated the parties’ scores based on your previous rating of issues and policies.
Go to the polling booth this election with you own ‘how-to-vote’ card based on policy that reflects what you want. By using TruPoll you can focus the political process away from parties and back onto policies.
