31 TravelBalls (Quiz as christmas calendar)

With TravelBalls you get some useful information about NY in a playful way so that you can find your way easily. The list is not exhaustive. For more details there is the Internet, loads of literature or an amiable travel companion.
The App has been designed as an Advent calendar so that you can discover something new every day and you will not upset your stomach with the first bite. This however, does not apply for those who will go to New York in the near future.
The App is not only an Advent calendar but is has mainly been designed as a travel guide for NY. The Advent calendar or Quiz function can be switched off by tapping the button „Travel“.
Please test our application with Wi-Fi, because the 3G is not available everywhere!
What does it provide?
A Scroll-View with 31 famous places in New York, no long search is necessary because all is arranged in one view!
You can arrange it in alphabetical order.
Tap on a ball and one representative photo (place) will be loaded.
You can tap on the map button and the location will be shown where the photo was shot. Secondly you get an information
how to get there with the subway.
You get additional information about the photo or the location you are interested in visiting. You can use informative internet links.
One Photo was added if there are other locations close to the place the photo was taken.
All pictures can be loaded as a slideshow. Enjoy two short Walking-Tours over Broadway und 5th Avenue.
You can play a little Quiz. The window will only open when the current day is equal the number of the "Question" of the Quiz.
System requirements:
iOS 4.2 on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4.Gen.
(iPhone 3G is a bit slow but does still work) little slower
