國研院臺灣海洋科技研究中心之海氣象監測錨碇搭載包含氣溫、氣壓、相對濕度、風速風向及太陽輻射等氣象量測元件監測資料，水下不同深度配置溫度計用以進行海洋上層溫度剖面量測，每10分鐘一筆平均資料、每6小時經由銥衛星網路傳回。
