The "Today I Learned" App compiles most its content from real people posting to Reddit about what they learned that day, we also pull in factoids from other locations too including books, personal experience, Snapple lids, and other random fun fact websites. Each topic is elaborated on to make sense without having to click a link.
Here's an example:
"Today I learned… that you can locate the side of the car where your gas tank is located by looking at the arrow pointing in its direction on your gas gauge."
TIL has over 9,000 factoids and will be updated every month. (No Internet connection required to access the content!) I also update this App on a regular basis, so look out for new updates all the time.
TIL is perfect for road trips, parties, hangouts, and long plane or train rides. You can even re-phrase the factoids into a question to create a guessing game with your friends.
One click sharing allows you to post what you learned today onto Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. You can also email it to a friend or copy it into an SMS message.
