TipApplause™ is a gratuity payments platform for performing artists to accept gratuity payments electronically and to inform live music fans about live performances within selected genres and geographic areas.
For Artists:
TipApplause helps you earn more from your live performances. It is a mobile app designed by and for performing artists that enable you to receive tips electronically, and to inform your fans about live music events specific to your genre and performance location.
Download TipApplause from the App Store and follow these 3 easy steps:
* Create a brief profile for fans to find you
* Provide your email address to initiate your payment account set-up
* Register your live events for fans to discover where and when you are performing
For Fans:
Support the musicians that you love by applauding with a tip. Now you can tip from anywhere. Anytime.
* No cash? Tip with your credit card.
* Don't want to leave your seat? Tip using your smartphone.
* Forgot to leave a tip? Tip any time.
Fans can discover live music events and search for artists by genre, location, venue name and/or date of performance.
How it Works:
TipApplause uses a fan's current GPS location to find the closest performance by a registered TipApplause artist.
To tip an artist, fans simply select a tip amount and enter an email address, password and their payment card information.
When there are multiple performances happening nearby, fans can select from a list to tip an artist, or find more live music happening now, or in the future.

ABOUT ARTIST FUNDS AND FEES
When artists register with TipApplause, the set-up of your payment account is initiated and you will receive an email from WePay instructing you to activate your account at WePay.com. Artists must have a valid U.S. social security number and/or U.S. tax I.D. number in order to activate their WePay account and receive tips.
When a fan makes a tip payment, the payment is deposited directly into their WePay account less the 20% facilitation fee charged by TipApplause. The facilitation fee includes any fees charged by WePay for processing the tip transaction.
To withdraw your funds, you will need to activate your account at WePay.com and link a bank account. Once a bank account is linked, the funds are sent automatically to the selected bank account. You have the option to send any available funds daily, weekly (every Monday), or monthly (every first of the month).
