The TimeTranslator iPhone app provides time conversions to a variety of time formats, such as day of year, Julian day, seconds of day, and GPS seconds. It also allows the user to specify his/her own reference date, such as the number of days since a satellite mission began (e.g., NASA SORCE and SDO satellite mission days are initial defaults). The user can also specify the reference date for seconds-based time formats, such as Unix and iPhone time that are the initial defaults. The user can also specify different time zones in addition to the standard universal time (UT, same as GMT) and local time (LT) on your iPhone / iPad device.

TimeTranslator also allows the time to be continuously updated (clock icon in top left) and to display time in 12-hour or 24-hour format (info icon in top right). In the clock update mode, TimeTranslator serves as a counter, either as count-up from a past reference date or as count-down for a future date / event.
