The SCEA Student Program is a division of The SCEA/NEA.
We provide support, resources and membership services to college students who are pursuing teaching as a profession.
The SCEA has a Student Chapter at many of South Carolina colleges and universities where there is an education program.
With our "Hook Up" Program, student members of The SCEA have an opportunity to network with The SCEA teacher group in their area for support, mentoring and coaching. In addition, student members have access to our professional development workshops, including Praxis.
Student members of The SCEA have an opportunity to participate in NEA activities and hold office at the state and national level.
These opportunities aren't just something to add to a portfolio or resume. These opportunities and experiences will help student educators grow in their profession in ways that are not possible with any other organization. The SCEA/NEA is unique and your partner in education.
