Internationally famous, the fortnight long fair celebrates the rhythms of folk theater along with crafts work from all over the world. The Crafts Fair(Fair(Mela) ) celebrates the finest hand-looms and handicrafts traditions of country. Held in the month of February from 1st-15th, the fair embodies the spirit that runs through the people of India and its rich culture. The SurajKund Crafts Fair(Fair(Mela) ) is held just 8 KMS from South Delhi, at SurajKund (in Faridabad, Haryana), India. SurajKund lies in the Faridabad district on the Delhi - Agra national highway. The fair is unique in the sense that each year the decor is based on a state theme and highlights a particular craft.
