Crystal Creek is a quiet and ordinary town, its calmness is guaranteed by the strict routine that marks daily life.
Like a hypnotic music box that plays the same melody ever and ever, with no changes at all, Crystal Creek doesn't bear any kind of creativity. Although every movement
seems to be Yluent, it's imposed on the characters by an occult
mechanism.
The apathetic citizens' consciousness wallows in their dull and
repetitive habits, which seemingly Yill their lives, but in fact they drain them. This
superYicial well-­‐being is like a glaze that covers everything, creating a deceitful cheerfulness. It hides the deepest and maybe painful truths, but it also simultaneously lies and traps.
Slowly, that glaze is cracking...
