The Affinity is an alliance of the most influential and powerful future leaders of the fashion and entertainment industries. Our primary focus is to facilitate the success of each and every member while providing invaluable assistance to all organizations based on the campus of the Florida State University. This Organization serves as a vehicle for anyone interested in the fashion or entertainment industries. Members will be given the tools necessary for effective networking, and will also have to opportunity to be featured in fashion shows, music videos, concerts, magazines and many other media outlets.
The Affinty was simply a vision by E. Mackey, but on October 27, 2009 his vision became a reality. The Affinity presented to the campus of The Florida State University the first ever Homecoming Fashion Show in The FSU Oglesby Union Ballrooms. On that day, the Affinit MADE HISTORY!!! After presenting REAL fashion, for the first time The Affinity began to plan for an even better show. The following Fall, The Affinity came back to Present to some and Introduce to others The 2nd Annual Homecoming Fashion at The Florida State University, in the Leon County Civic Center on November 4, 2010.
Displaying the clothing of student designers, local boutiques, and sponsors from the community of Tallahassee. The Affinity took the stage on that day and Re-Wrote History. Now, as this Fall as quickly approached us, The Affinity is ready to Re-Constuct History, with The 3rd Annual Homecoming Fashion Show at The Florida State University. Get ready, for this year the vision of one is helping others Reconstruct History: Fashion's Under Construction!!!
