Textwell is a multipurpose text box which can be used for any writing tasks such as emailing, blogging, searching, posting to Facebook or Twitter, and so on. The built-in actions are fully customizable with JavaScript, and you can even create ones by yourself.

The key concept of Textwell is that it's for nothing but just jotting. For the simplicity, it doesn't have features for styling or managing notes, but it is always ready to start writing instead.

Textwell automatically saves the content by appropriate timing and stores as history, so that you can search and take it back some time later.

Textwell allows you to
- Simply write and read on a plain text field without any functional complexity or visual clutter.
- Route your text to other apps or services such as Email, Message, Google, Twitter, Facebook, Maps, Calendar, Reminders, and more, by choosing one from the action list. Actions are customizable with JavaScript.
- Search and restore old text from the history list.
- Snapshot current content as a special history item which is called "Snap," and they will be shared via iCloud.
- See and switch counters for characters, words, and lines by tapping the titlebar.
- Feel safe from losing text by accidental crash since Textwell auto-saves the content every minute.
- In the Settings app, change themes, font sizes, and bar layout.
- In the Settings app, change behavior for moving caret by swiping, copying content when the app switches, and detecting data (URLs, addresses, dates, or phone numbers) within the content.
