Beginning in spring 2012, the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR™) will replace the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS). This application for the Texas STAAR 3rd Grade Math is based on curriculum outlined by the Texas Education Agency. The curriculum that students will be tested on the following categories
• Reporting Category 1:Numbers, Operations, and Quantitative Reasoning
• Reporting Category 2:Patterns, Relationships, and Algebraic Reasoning
• Reporting Category 3:Geometry and Spatial Reasoning
• Reporting Category 4:Measurement
• Reporting Category 5:Probability and Statistics

This app has 2 practice tests that are custom made for the 3rd grade STAAR test takers that will allow them to test a range of problems from simple to challenging to ensure that they have understood all the skills mentioned above.

Practice test has rich graphics and word problems that will allow you to test your skills in various areas.

You can take the test in the comfort of your home, and see your scores at the end of the test. You will also get to see the correct answer if you have answered a question incorrectly.

Challenging Problems: We have also included some challenging problems that will make your child think about what has been asked in the problem and prepare him/her prepare for tricky problems asked in the exam.
