Application Description
Taxonomy is your New York taxi-travelling companion. Use it from the start to the end of your taxi journey to:
- Find destinations, complete with street intersections.
- Get fare and trip duration estimates.
- Share your trip with your friends, to keep them up to date on where you are.
- Enter your Foursquare checkin data before you arrive, check in automatically when you do.
- Calculate your trip tip, and split the total between friends. You can even bill them with Venmo.
- Review your taxi experience to help other riders find a good taxi.
Please note: trip tracking with Taxonomy requires the use of your phone's GPS functionality. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
