Application Description
Can anyone that is having issues with the app please send us the details of the issue or the route you are having problems with to taxiroute@tec-it.co.uk so that we can address the issue as soon as possible. We have 500+ people using the app successfully so writing a bad review is just not helpful to anyone!
*** Please note TaxiRoute is now available in all App Stores to allow visitors to the UK to make use of the app. However, the app will only provide route, distance, approximate costs and taxi companies within the UK. ***
TaxiRoute is a Taxi Fare Calculator. It enables you to get an estimate of what a taxi fare should cost you before getting in the Taxi. It will show you a map of the route the taxi should take, the distance of the route, turn by turn route directions, the price based on the tariff chosen as well as a list of locally subscribed taxi companies.
TaxiRoute also takes advantage of the location services in your phone to do simple calculations like “take me home!” and the ability to add favourites such as “Heathrow Terminal 4” to make the application quick and easy to use.
TaxiRoute uses official Local Authority Hackney Tariffs from around Wales, England and Scotland to provide accurate fare calculations.
