Taxiloc is a real time taxi ordering service.
After verifying your order, TAXILOC sends it to our member taxis closest to you and sends you a free response in less than three (3) minutes confirming:
- the colour, 
- the make, 
- the model, 
- the registration plate, 
- and the travel time of the first taxi to accept your order.

If all of the nearby taxis signed up to our service are unavailable, TAXILOC will offer to connect you to a local taxi booth (cost of a local landline call in Paris and the greater Paris area, excluding operator charges). A taxi driver at the booth will answer your call. Please provide him with the exact pick-up address.

Pre-requirements:
To use Taxiloc on your iPhone you must have version 5.0.1 and:
- a GPRS data connection or WiFi activation enabling you to transmit your geolocation details.
- GPS activated.

Registration, T&C, privacy rules:
To use TAXILOC you must register with the service, entering your first name and telephone number (in international format). You must accept the Terms & Conditions and the privacy policy.

Instructions:
For each order to be sent to nearby taxis, you must specify:
- your pick-up address
- your destination address

1) Pick-up:
Click the horizontal, yellow pick-up button and wait a few seconds for the GPS to identify your location in real time (a green pin will appear on the map). The address found by Google maps will be displayed. Check the street name and type in the number where you are or will be when the taxi arrives in order to guarantee your pick-up. If you are in an area covered by EDGE (no GPRS), it is advisable to deactivate WiFi in your iPhone's settings.

2) Destination:
Click the horizontal, yellow destination button. Click the “enter your destination” button or choose your selection mode from the quick buttons:
Airports and Stations
Select your destination from the registered airports and stations.

Favourites
To select a favourite as your destination address, press the “star” icon to the left of each selected address in order to save it to your favourites. The choices offered include:
Home
Work
My hotel
Other...

Points of interest
Select a saved destination address from more than 2,000 (two thousand) points of interest categorized by type :
Fairs and Exhibitions
Gardens, parks and squares
Metro – RER
Monuments and museums
Theme parks
Paris neighbourhoods
Restaurants
(In addition to selecting your destination address, you can also book a table by call the restaurant automatically)
Shopping
Shows, concerts, cabarets
Etc…

3) Order your taxi
By validating your order you undertake to be at the pick-up location within your taxi’s travel time, which will not exceed ten (10) minutes.

4) Your order has been transmitted successfully
A three (3) minute countdown will be displayed in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. You will be updated regularly about your order’s progress.

5) Confirmation a taxi is en route or connection to a taxi booth.
You will be sent details on your taxi so you can recognize it as well as its optimized travel time, according to traffic information. If not, TAXILOC will offer:
to retry your order
to connect you to a taxi booth.

If you choose to be connected to one or more taxi booths, TAXILOC will display your location in Google maps and indicate where the closest booths are and their distance as the crow flies. By clicking on each taxi booth you will be connected to them, in turn, by telephone.
