Welcome to Australia’s premium eating and drinking festival.
Tasting Australia 27 April – 4 May 2014.
For more than fifteen years, Tasting Australia has been one of Australia’s most influential and best-attended culinary festivals.
The biennial event continues to be a recipe for success attracting some 50,000 people. It provides the perfect opportunity and backdrop for the public, food and drink professionals and the world’s media to experience and enjoy the best that the nation has to offer in fine produce, food, beverage, hospitality and tourism experiences.
Festival-goers, from industry leaders to weekend gourmets, are front and centre – all savouring the gastronomic delights and kaleidoscope of ideas that the festival delivers every two years.
For 2014, Tasting Australia’s theme is Origins and the recognition of a sense of place.
The theme of Origins aims to celebrate that realising that ‘where you are’ is the ‘who you are’ of modern Australian food, wine and tourism experience. Tasting Australia 2014 will acknowledge the rich legacy that has been left to us by previous generations, inherited through our food culture.
