Overview
--------
tarde is an updated version of the old Atari Game, Breakout. It is a 2-dimensional game where there is a paddle, a ball, and a rainbow of blocks at the top. The ball bounces around the screen randomly and when it hits a piece of the rainbow that piece is removed and the ballís speed increases. The sides and very top of the game screen will bounce the ball to bounce back at a random angle. The bottom of screen will allow the ball to fall through and the ball is lost. The user must move the paddle left and right at the bottom to keep the ball from falling through the bottom of the screen. The user can move the paddle as the ball is coming in contact with it to control the angle at which the ball bounces off, otherwise the ball bounces off the paddle at random.
Objective
---------
The objective is to obtain the highest score by removing as many pieces of the rainbow as possible without losing a ball. The ball needs to be kept in play and not allowed to fall passed the paddle down to the bottom of the screen. Each piece of the rainbow causes the ball to increase in speed, starting at the bottom, slowest row, all the way to the top, fastest row. Each row is assigned a score number and each block of the row that is hit increments that number to the userís score. The goal is to remove all pieces of the rainbow and/or obtain the highest score. When the rainbow is completely removed, the game is over and the final score is adjusted based on the amount of time it took to hit all of the blocks.
Deterrents to the Objective
---------------------------
The ball can fall through the bottom of the screen. The user must not allow this to happen by moving the paddle left and right to hit the ball back into the game. The ball increases in speed as it hits each successive row of blocks making it harder to keep the ball in play.

3 balls are given per game. When a ball falls passed the paddle through to the bottom of the screen, a ball is lost and a new one is put into the game. When all pieces of the rainbow are gone, the game is complete.

Health is not a factor in the game.
