Choose your own location on any geolocation-enabled web site!

Location-based social networking is supposedly the Next Big Thing. Facebook
Places, Twitter, Google+, all use location data.

Are you tired of seeing your friends “check in” from exiting places?
With Tall Tales, there will be no more “At home watching TV” check-ins
from you! Now, you can be “Having tea with the Queen at Buckingham Palace,”
or “Camping in the Grand Canyon.”

Or perhaps the wife doesn't exactly know about the bachelor party? She may
not belive you, but she'll believe your check-in “At the office, working late.”
After all, GPS doesn't lie! Right?

Choose your location on the map, then open the built-in browser view and
go to any site that uses the W3C geolocation API. The site will receive
your chosen location, just as if you were really there.

Check in on Facebook or Google+ “from” wherever you want. For Facebook, only
the m.facebook.com interface is location-enabled. On Twitter you can
use the regular web interface, but you must first enable location in your
Twitter account settings. The Google+ mobile and desktop sites both work
for location spoofing, but posting from the desktop site currently doesn't
work on the iPad in this app or in Safari, so use the mobile site.

NOTE: This app does not alter or affect your device's GPS or Location
Services data. In fact, it will work even if you have disabled Location
Services on your device. It does not (and cannot) fool other apps or
the Safari browser.

The 17+ rating is only because the browser allows full access to any
web site.
