When you want to send a talking chat message, you choose the voice. When it arrives at the destination, it does the talking using one of many synthesised voices you can choose from. You can also tune the pitch and rate of the voice. If you want to make the message sound like a duck, thats OK.

You can also chat locally with the people around you, without using an internet connection or your broadband allowance. This is available when people and their phones are physically close to each other. It's a great option when you want to chat with friends on a train or at a sports event.
