Application Description
This innovative tour system of the Pena and Monserrate Parks and the Capuchos Convent's forest , which provides access to multimedia information on the habitats and species highlighted in the different routes. This solution combines Radiofrequency Identification (RFID) technology with QR codes with the use of iPhone and iPod Touch. The itineraries were defined based on selected habitats and remarkable specimens labeled with radiofrequency tags and QR codes. Through this software application, information about these items is associated with the tags allowing you to access photos, audio and video files, as well as vocalized written information, giving the illusion that 'nature talks to you.'
