Before use, you access the simple prompted template to enter and store the aircraft performance information from the Pilot Operating Handbook for standard conditions. This is done for each aircraft you intend to use. Before flight, you select the aircraft, and then enter the prevailing conditions for the takeoff, such as wind, temperature, weight, and pressure altitude and obstacle height.
