This course teaches whole numbers, operations on decimals, integers, percents, square roots, exponents and fractions, introduction to algebraic skills such as equations, polynomials, functions and proportions, and probability. It also includes geometry concepts such as graphing, the coordinate plane, area, surface area and volume of regular and solid shapes, classifying and Pythagorean Theorem. This course offers 13 full chapters in three parts with 6-8 lessons each chapter that present short easy to follow 6th grade math videos. These 5 to 10 minutes videos take students through the lesson slowly and concisely. 6th Grade math is taken before Pre-Algebra.
