Taggo POS is a check-in tool for retailers to recognize their customers as fans of their Facebook Fan Club at the point of sale. The retailer uses Taggo POS at the point of sale. When the customer is ready to pay, the retailer asks for the customer's mobile number to enter as a unique identifier to check if the customer is a fan of the retailer's Facebook Page. The Taggo POS application connects automatically to the retailer's Facebook Page to check on the customer's fan status. When a retailer identifies the customer as a fan, the retailer will give the advertised fan benefits to the customer. If the retailer has linked his PayPal account to the Facebook Page, the retailer will be able request PayPal payment from the recognized fan at the physical store.

The customer can only be recognized as a fan and make payment by PayPal if the customer has previously registered as a fan on the retailer’s Facebook Page, using Taggo Facebook App installed on the Facebook Page.

In addition to the point of sale check-in and payment function, Taggo POS also supports instant photo tagging of fans at events. The photo will appear in an album on the retailer's Facebook Page and tagged to the fan’s wall for friends to see.
