TMA, Illinois’ Premier Full Service Manufacturing Association, was founded
in 1925. Since, TMA has grown into a not-for-profit organization of precision
manufacturing and supplier companies in the greater Chicago area 1000
members strong.

TMA recognizes manufacturers as value-added producers of goods and services
and creators of high quality jobs for Chicago area citizens. Because of this, TMA
strives to help member companies grow through education, advocacy, training,
employee benefits, human resources assistance and special events.

TMA:
• helps member companies train and educate personnel at all levels
• provides direct and indirect sources of information and assistance
• pools the purchasing power of member companies
• represents and promoting the interests of member companies
• serves as a forum and a clearinghouse for the exchange of ideas and
information
• fostering a sense of mutual support and unity among the members and the
industry as a whole
