SwissPos is a GPS app designed for use with the topographic maps by swisstopo that are used in Switzerland.
Perfect for hikers, climbers, and skiers in the Swiss mountains.
SwissPos marks the current position on a grid square that fits exactly the grid cell on the swisstopo maps. This makes finding one's current position on the paper map trivial.
Features:
* Supports both the 1:25000 and the 1:50000 (e.g. skitouring version) maps.
* Displays the current position in the Swiss coordinate system (Swiss grid, CH1903).
* Uses a large and high-contrast font which is easy to see even with sun or glacier glasses.
* Optimized with battery conservation in mind.
* Works without any internet connectivity, even if there is no cellphone reception.
