Swedish Film is a magazine published quarterly by the Swedish Film Institute containing articles and news of new Swedish films and the people behind them. The focus is mainly on Swedish feature films, documentaries and short films that are shown at the most prestigious film festivals around the world as well as Swedish directors, producers and actors on the rise.

Some of the people and topics we cover in this 2013 Cannes issue of Swedish Film are director Lukas Moodysson who returns to Sweden and his roots with upcoming We Are the Best!, The Quiet Roar by Henrik Hellström, this years “Producer on the Move” Erika Wasserman (Avalon and The Quiet Roar), Hotel - Lisa Langseth’s second feature starring Alicia Vikander as well as Waltz for Monica by Per Fly about celebrated singer and actress Monica Zetterlund.

The magazine also contains a catalogue with facts about the new Swedish features and feature length documentaries, including trailers of the films.
