Application Description
SuperPing is an ICMP Ping application. It has a simple and intuitive user experience.
With the help of an ICMP Echo Request, you will be able to test whether a host on the internet is active. An active host responds with an ICMP Echo Reply and SuperPing shows you the time this roundtrip took from your iPhone to the host and back.

- "No DNS"
Response: If your internet connection is broken, SuperPing can't resolv the DNS Name into a IP address. So sometimes its useful to have a real IP from an outer network added to check or bypass unavailable NS servers.
- "Fake!, This app seriously gets pings from nonexistent wifi networks"
Response: if you ping localhost; you ping your own iPhone. And if your iPhone is running, you get pings ;-)

- Grouped Hosts
- More Options (interval time, padding-pattern,...)
