Application Description
"Stormwater Flow Calcs" is a quick-and-dirty tool designed for Civil Engineers and Engineering Students for computing runoff, maximum pipe capacity, and the fraction of the pipe capacity used in a given storm event. Additionally, "Stormwater Flow Calcs" provides a convenient orifice flow tool.
Runoff is calculated with the Rational Method and Max Pipe Capacity is calculated with the Mannings Equation. Pipe capacity used during a user-defined storm event is displayed with a cross-section of the modeled pipe.
Users can conveniently specify all of the parameters associated with each of the input equation in easy-to-navigate menus.
