Physical search lets you search using the following properties:

Luster
Diaphaneity
Mineral color
Streak color
Hardness
Tenacity
Cleavage

Associated minerals

Both search types allow you to search by name as well. The search result presents a list of minerals that match the input criteria. Clicking a mineral leads to mineral details which contains additional information such as the chemical formula and birefringence interference color range of the mineral, along with the above mentioned properties.
