Application Description
Stone Bucket simulates a physical computer that uses stones and buckets for memory, and a crane for processing. Technically, it is a very simple Register Machine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Register_machine) similar to a Turing machine. This educational tool teaches basic programming principles and algorithmic thinking. It also helps convey the idea that a computer is a physical machine.
