Stag is a simple piece of software written for the sole purpose of logging gps data to add geographic information to your photos with separate geotagging software. Stag can log continuously and there are no time limitations. It's completely free!

Features:
• You can add annotations to your current location and export your files to iTunes or e-mail them to yourself.
• When you open Stag, the next point it logs will be copied to one second after the last point you logged before you closed it. This means that you can take a photo first then open Stag afterwards. Handy if you don't want to have GPS running non-stop.

Limitations:
• Since Stag requires the use of GPS, it will only work correctly on phones with GPS and location services enabled.
• You will need a separate piece of software to add the location information from Stag to your photos. Some examples of apps that do this are HoudahGeo (Mac) and GeoSetter (Windows).

How do I copy my exported GPX files through iTunes?
1. Select your device in iTunes
2. Click on the 'Apps' tab near the top of the window
3. Scroll down to the 'File Sharing' section
4. Select and save your exported files
