SRUC Undergraduate Prospectus 2014.

University level study at SRUC, Scotland’s land-based Higher Education Institution – information for prospective students.

This application has been made available to inform and advise all potential applicants to SRUC. It features:

- Detailed information on the courses available at SRUC.
- Advice to prospective students regarding all aspects of the application process.
- An interactive map of all the SRUC campuses with detailed information on how to get to them.
- Detailed information on the academic requirements for each SRUC course.

Important information

SRUC was formed on 1st October 2012 by the merger of Barony, Elmwood and Oatridge Colleges, and SAC (Scottish Agricultural College).

This prospectus does not contain details of SRUC’s entire education provision but focuses on those courses of a Higher Education nature, which accept applications through the UCAS system, offered at the Aberdeen, Ayr and Edinburgh campuses.

SRUC will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver courses in accordance with the descriptions set out in the prospectus. However, SRUC has to manage its academic provision and facilities in ways which provide a quality learning experience to its students, and are efficient and cost effective. It therefore reserves the right to make variations to entry requirements, the content or method of delivery of courses, to discontinue courses, to move courses to another campus, to merge or combine courses or years of courses and withdraw or replace facilities if such action is reasonably considered to be necessary. If SRUC discontinues any course, it will use reasonable endeavours to facilitate application to a suitable alternative course.
