Think Sudoku, but different. Squared is based on a popular Sudoku variant commonly called CalcDoku or MathDoku. The gameplay is easy to pick up, but difficult to master. Each puzzle is guaranteed to have at least one solution.

Rules:
- A number cannot repeat in a single row.
- A number cannot repeat in a single column.
- The squares on the board are grouped into "cages" by dark outlines. In the upper left corner of each cage is a target number and a mathematical operation. When the mathematical operation is performed on the numbers entered within the cage, the result must be equal to the target number.
- The numbers within a cage can repeat, so long as the number is not repeated in a row or column.
