The easy way to FASTER reading!

It is assumed by many educators that once we learn to read as children we no longer need any training in the skill of reading. We will simply continue to improve by reading more and more books over the coming school years. It is because of this attitude that most people read at 200 to 250 words per minute even though it is possible for the human mind to read and process information at greater than 250 words per minute speeds. All that is required is advanced training in the skill of reading.

If you fall into any of the following categories, you need this app. Are you a:

* 'IT worker' with manuals and technical documentation that you must read to stay up to date with the latest trends and new technologies;
* 'Scientist/Researcher' with large numbers of journals and research material to process;
* 'Executive/Office worker' with a paper mountain of forms and contracts piled high on your desk;
* 'Accountant/Stock Trader' who needs to plow through hundreds of company accounts;
* 'Lawyer/Police Officer' with dense files and legal documents to process;
* 'Teacher' with essays and book reviews to mark and study material to select and prepare;
* 'Student' with books and research papers getting in the way of your social life.

This app will help you read more, save more time and improve your concentration and comprehension of what you read.

If 80% of your working week is spent reading documents and you double your reading speed, you will be able to save 40% of your working week. The equivalent of a 3 day working week. Alternatively, you could simply become 40% more productive in your job.

This speed reading course has been designed to give you the skills you need to dramatically improve your reading speed in the shortest possible time. Lessons are kept deliberately short to maximize your available study time with the practice tools. The principles underlying speed reading are actually quite simple to understand. Each lesson will explain one of these principles:

Lesson 1
In this lesson you will learn about the bad habits, subvocalization and eye regression, that are responsible for slow reading speeds. You will also learn how to use a Pacer to help guide your eyes to faster reading speeds.

Lesson 2
In this lesson you will learn how to use your peripheral vision to read phrases instead of individual words.

Lesson 3
In this lesson you will learn how to use this app's 'Reading List' tool to keep track of the books, documents, periodicals, etc you have to read so you only read what you have to read when you have to read it. You will also learn how to setup a 'Reading Management System' to keep on top of your reading pile.

The above lessons give detailed instruction on how to use the following tools to practice what you have learned:

Pacer tool
Use this tool to condition your mind to keep your eyes flowing freely through any text. Simply select an article, read it with the pacer and then answer the multiple-choice comprehension questions.

Phrase Recognition tool
Use this tool to improve your peripheral vision so you can read phrases instead of words.

Reading List tool
Get your reading pile under control. Use this tool to organize your reading time for maximum efficiency.

Personal Progress Charts
Use these charts to check your progress in speed and comprehension levels (to be used in conjunction with the Pacer tool).
