You can set both Location Reminders and Timer Reminders.

Location reminders will go off when you get to a location that you choose. Timer Reminders will go off at a specific time of your choosing.

Each “Event” can be programmed to play an audio sound, or it can be set to speak a phrase of your choosing.

You can set it to go off when you arrive home to say “Don’t forget to pay the light bill”, or when you arrive at the Grocery store and say “Don’t forget your reusable bags.”

For timers there are two options.

The first type will go off at a specific time, and play an audio sound. It will show a notification that tells you the name of the reminder, and when you swipe the notification, it can say a phrase that you’d like to say. This type will use significant less battery resources.

The second type will go off at a specific time, say whatever you want it to say, without having to touch the device. You can have it go off at 4:00PM to say “Don’t forget to take your medication”, or at 6:00PM to say “Time to start dinner”. The programming to make this feature available will use up more battery resources, and should be used with care.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
