Application Description
Speak! is an application that turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into a text-to-speech device!
Use Speak! to help you practice your English pronunciation, or to do the speaking for you! Don't rely on having to turn on accessibility - simply use this application, type your message, and "Say it!" Your device will start talking! It's that simple!
You can also send your messages to other people via E-Mail! Simply type what you want to say, then tap "Send it!". This will bring up an e-mail screen that allows you to send your message to anyone you wish, right from within Speak!
First installations of Speak! will be treated to a list of famous quotes in the history button.
Speak! also keeps a record of previous sentences you've typed. Tap "What I've Said" to get a list of the history.
Speak! does not require an active internet connection, unlike many other speech applications.
Future versions of Speak! will include more famous quotes, additional voices to choose from (and different accents), and even some more hidden goodies! Speak! currently only speaks English. We're working on other languages.
