Spanner in the Works is a fun history game for kids. This game only works if played at Gloucester Quays Shopping Centre.
Around the world vacuum cleaners have stopped working, paving slabs have disappeared and bridges are falling down. That's because the evil Mr McGuffin has been meddling with Gloucester's history. He's been travelling back in time to the factory of famous Gloucester engineering company Fielding & Platt and sticking spanners in the works so some of their top inventions have stopped working.

It's your mission to travel through time and solve 6 challenges to thwart this time travelling villain and get the world back on track. If you're successful, you'll win a giftcard to spend at the Quays.

Parental Note - while one of you is saving the world with your kids, the other one can enjoy 30 minutes uninterrupted shopping at Gloucester Quays. Maybe that McGuffin's not all bad...
