Application Description
Welcome to SONG SAVANT! Developed by Arjade Technologies, this game app uses the music on your Ipod touch/Iphone/Ipad to quiz the player/players on their knowledge of the TITLES, ARTISTS, ALBUMS and YEARS of the songs. It is very important that this metadata (TITLES,ARTISTS, ALBUMS and YEARS) is complete and accurate for this
to be a fun game to play. If the songs on your device have missing metadata, they will be passed over as potential songs for the game and you will see a message stating "Not Enough Songs - Please make another selection". If you do not have enough songs on your device with complete metadata, then you will be unable to play in single player mode or to host a game until you have enough songs on your device with complete metadata.
ROUND POINTS are awarded for correct answers and SPEED POINTS are awarded for submitting correct answers quickly. The object of the game is to score the most ROUND POINTS. If players end the round with the same amount of ROUND POINTS, the player with the most SPEED POINTS will be the winner.
SONG SAVANT can be played alone or in groups. In single player mode a bluetooth connection is not necessary. One player plays alone on their own device. In multiplayer mode a bluetooth connection will be necessary. In this mode the host's ipod Touch/Iphone/Ipad should be connected to a speaker system and will supply all the music for the game. All players will guess the songs on their individual devices linked to the host through a bluetooth connection. The host does not compete in the game but must press the button for the NEXT SONG when players are ready.
