This app is unique. It is the only one in the world that lets you explore photographs of snowflakes, untouched in mid-flight. We hope that the images in this app will provide you with an exciting look into the secret world of snowflakes. We challenge you to find two that are the same!

All of the images shown here are automatically captured in free fall at the Alta Ski Resort using the University of Utah Multi-Angle Snowflake Camera, or MASC. The MASC is fully automated and can take tens of thousands of pictures in a single day.

The images included in this app are a small subset. The paid version will include access to images captured in real time whenever it snows at the Alta Ski Resort.
