Application Description
This is the standard app to control your R/C toys based on the TobyRich SmartLink PCB*. SmartLink PCB is a state-of-the-art ultralight Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy receiver for remote controlled toys and other electronic devices. This app will also work with the soon-to-be-released "SmartUAV" indoor R/C airplane.
The app is built like the interface of an airplane cockpit and lets you intuitively fly your SmartLink-controlled R/C plane, as well as see lots of gathered data in real time. Hours of effortless fun!
Use the bottom half of the screen to control the throttle amount (engine power, speed of the motor), and simply turn your iPhone or iPod Touch left or right to control the rudder (actuator).
The top half of the screen displays an artificial horizon created in realtime with data gathered from the on-board avionics unit. You can turn on ATC sound effects with the little ATC icon on the top left. Touching and holding the horizon screen will show a special "tweak screen" with some extra options for you tinkerers out there!
The app also shows the current battery level (FUEL), signal strength and ambient temperature as measured by the SmartLink.
