I almost called this the "Mom" app, because it does the same thing my Mom did for me when I memorized the multiplication table. That would not be fair to her though, because she did a lot more than that for me!

Anyway, my mother would set across the table from me and hold up a card. If I knew the answer, we put it in an "OK" pile. If I struggled with the problem we put it in a "Need to study" pile. We worked on the "Need to study" pile until I knew the answers. This app does exactly the same thing. Plus it remembers how long each problem took so you know which ones are the most difficult for the student.

This program builds a virtual deck of cards on the server. It presents a card, or math problem, and the student inputs the answer. If they answer quickly and correctly, it removes that card from the deck and they will not see that card again. However, if they struggle with the problem it puts the card back in the virtual deck and they will be asked the same card again. When they correctly and quickly answer all questions, it starts over.

If you have not logged in, you will be prompted for a login before you begin to study.

When you take a break the system will remember where you are when you log back in. Remember to exit the app if you take a break because it will look like you took a long time to answer the problem if you don't. You can also do part of the deck on an iOS device and part on a computer. Just go to the Smart Flash Cards Online website and login with the same login you use with this app.

Your last answer was right, but too slow. You will see that problem again.

In progress reports allow parents and teachers to monitor each student's progress while they study in real time. History reports identify which problems each student does not know.

It is optimized for Voice Over. So students who are blind or have limited vision can use the app. If you turn Voice Over on in Settings, it will read the problem on the study tab. When Voice Over is turned on, you tap once to select a button, then double tap anywhere on the screen to activate it.
