SoundLytes Lite (SLLite) is a free app. It is based on the MB game Simon with a couple of improvements. The game is very simple to play. You set up certain parameters for each game and the game plays a series of tones. To win you play the tones back in the same order. The game provides visual and audio feedback. This game will definitely improve your memory while providing a delightful game platform. There are two versions of SoundLytes. SoundLytes Lite lets you play either two or four different sounds. In addition, you can double, triple, and quadruple the number of notes played. At its highest level you can play four sounds four times for a total of sixteen notes. Each of the four sounds will be repeated four times. The pattern is completely random. This is quite a challenge! The game also allows you to control the rest time between tones. There are four different speeds to choose from. These modifications take SoundLytes Lite to a whole new level with enough challenge to keep anyone busy for hours. Your brain will get a good workout as well.
If SoundLytes Lite doesn't provide a sufficient challenge you are encouraged to try SoundLytes Pro. The Pro version adds six tones and eight tones to the possibilites. And you can repeat both up to four times. For the eight tone version that is a 32 note series. At the fastest speed it happens in less than three seconds. This is quite a challenge! The Pro version adds several additional features. A Hint feature has been added. It also keeps track of the number of hints requested and a total score for each game.
