Introducing SimulusDM

SimulusDM is meant to be a quick decision support tool that you can use to show yourself, or more importantly, to show your patient how he or she might respond to either lifestyle interventions (diet or exercise) or medications. You should choose the simulated patient closest to the real patient in front of you. You can then add (or subtract) from the simulated patient's dietary carbohydrate intake, exercise or medications. SimulusDM then uses sophisticated and evidence-based algorithms to predict the simulated patient's A1C and fasting blood glucose (FBG) and generates a 24 hour blood glucose (BG) curve.
