Application Description
The SimNICU iPhone App will provide you with rapid access to neonatal emergency drug doses and other essential information exactly when you need it.

The App also includes a passcode-locked patient list where names, dates of birth, birth weight and working weights can be stored and used for the various calculations. Drug infusion dose precision is geared towards extremely preterm infants, and safety mechanisms are built in allowing for easy and safe calculation of double and quadruple strength infusions. Each day the corrected gestational age of any patients in the patient list is automatically updated and, when patients are selected, there are handy reminders for ROP screening.
Built into the App are preterm infant growth charts which allow predicted weights for various gestations, allowing estimated resuscitation drug doses to be calculated for you. APGAR scores can be quickly calculated and saved for later.
